Wellspring III - Ash & Black Walnut Blossom Vessel. 14" diameter x 11.75" high. The attractively shaped banded and marbled Ash Vessel (base) is hollowed out and finished inside. The highly figured Black Walnut Vessel (center box) fits perfectly on the Ash Vessel. And the undulating layered tri-petal Ash Blossom features a gorgeous 3" diameter energy Orb by Kenan Tiemeyer.

The “Blossom” consists of multiple tri-blossom layers; each layer is uniquely sculpted for undulating flow and interplay, sanded, finished, arranged and seamlessly glued together.
The large Hollow Form Vessel was a year in the making. From a fallen tree, I rescued a log section and sculpted/turned the outer elegant shape striving to reveal and maximize the inherent beautiful grain patterns and colorful tonal hues. I then hollowed out the interior to a 1” thickness for 12 months of air drying. Once dry, I final turned both the inside and outside, sanded and finished, pleased to preserve its inherent beauty.
To complete each sculpture I select a beautiful artisan glass orb made by super talented glass artists.
