“Sorgente” means wellspring.
The large “Hollow Form’s” topographical grain patterns and colorful tonal hues give ongoing voice to this rescued timber. After sculpting the exterior and hollowing the interior to 1” thickness for 12 months drying, I final turned the inside and outside, sanded, finished and triple buffed.
“Blossom” represents the perpetual blossoming of individual excellence - five layers individually sculpted for undulating flow and interplay, which support a beautiful artisan glass orb.
The lovely vortex orb is made by glass artist Dan Neff.
