BLACK SUGAR MAPLE MANTA RAY BOX W/ TURQUOISE DYED MANTA LID
- 16.5"Wingspan x 9.25" Depth (front to back) x 3.5" High.
- I sculpted the undulating wings of this Manta Ray Box on the lathe at 2500 rpm, exhilarating!
- Then hollowed out the box with an undercut rim and sanded the entire piece to a smooth surface.
- The Sugar Maple Manta was stained black & the Tiger Maple Manta lid was dyed turquoise. Both are finished with multiple coats of lacquer.
