Cascading Triple Diamond Pagoda Sculpture; African Bubinga & Black Walnut; 23.25” L x 13.75" W x 14” H; Four Stacked Functional Boxes
With up-close bright lighting to better reveal ghost imaging and patiently focused tool application, I sculpt the elegant wings of each Diamond Box on the lathe at over 2000 rpm with handheld cutting tools to a graduating size and fit. I then shape and hollow out the interior of each box and meticulously sand the entire piece to a wonderfully smooth surface, sign and finish. The nicely shaped hollowed out vessel base and free fitting lid are also meticulously turned, sanded and finished. Danish Oil Finish - Triple Buffed.
